Keith and Talia Comer are North American mobile missionaries, and the founders of Go & Shine. Prior to founding Go & Shine, both Keith and Talia were professional musicians with international touring Christian Rock bands Manic Drive (Keith;drums) and Seventh Day Slumber (Talia;bass guitar). In November 2012, they married and left the music industry for full time missions in rural, Northern Ontario, Canada. They served their first couple years of marriage as missionaries in Geraldton, Ontario with Rural Life Mission.
It was during their time as mobile “musicianaries”- and their time serving in the north, that God was crafting and equipping them for Go & Shine.
Keith was ordained in 2016 and holds a Bachelors of Religious Education from Heritage Bible College in Ontario, Canada while Talia attended Radford University in Virginia, USA. Talia also serves as worship director at their sending church Oak Dale Baptist in Nokesville, VA. Through their combined experiences in pastoral ministry, child and youth work, counseling , working in on-air radio and touring- they have a diverse set of experiences that allows them to minister uniquely.
The Comer’s are both eager to serve North America and spread the love and hope that only comes from knowing Jesus. They truly believe that North America is primed for revival and trust that God has a plan to save the people of the United States & Canada. They are simply following Gods call to GO & make disciples (Matthew 28:19), and to let their light SHINE bringing glory to the Father (Matthew 5:16) and hope to encourage you in that very same call Jesus has commanded for all Christians.
